Hydroponic Square Pipe is a special square tubular cultivation pipeline developed for commercial NFT and small substrate hydroponic systems in greenhouses. Different from conventional U-shaped troughs and rectangular channels, its integrated square hollow structure features neat appearance, high structural strength and convenient layered assembly. It is mainly used for intensive planting of leaf lettuce, herbs, seedling cultivation and small strawberry varieties, and widely applied in vertical planting racks, indoor plant factories and multi-span intelligent greenhouses. This pipe thoroughly avoids the defects of soil planting such as soil-borne diseases and uneven water supply, providing a stable, oxygen-rich and water-saving growing environment for year-round soilless production.

Manufactured from food-grade UV-stabilized modified PVC, the hydroponic square pipe meets global agricultural safety standards without toxic heavy metal precipitation. Special anti-aging raw material formula resists long-term high temperature, high humidity and strong ultraviolet irradiation inside greenhouses, effectively preventing yellowing, cracking and deformation. The pipe wall is completely resistant to corrosion from acidic and alkaline nutrient solutions, and the smooth inner cavity prevents root tangling and sludge accumulation, greatly reducing daily cleaning frequency. With uniform wall thickness and high rigidity, it is lightweight but firm enough for multi-layer vertical suspension and stacked installation, with a long service life of 10 to 15 years.

Its core advantage lies in the standardized square inner cavity and preset drainage gradient design. A consistent gentle slope is formed along the pipe length during production, which allows a thin nutrient film to flow steadily inside, fully matching NFT nutrient film cultivation technology. Crop roots absorb water and nutrients from the liquid film, while most roots contact circulating air to obtain sufficient oxygen, effectively solving the hypoxia root rot problem common in deep water culture. Excess nutrient liquid flows to the recovery pipeline to form a closed circulation system, cutting water consumption by more than 80% and reducing fertilizer waste significantly compared with open soil planting, realizing green and low-consumption agricultural production.

Round planting holes are pre-opened evenly on the top surface of the square pipe, with uniform spacing reserved for placing plant baskets and fixing seedlings. The integrated molding structure avoids liquid leakage at splicing joints. When matched with height-adjustable hot-dip galvanized vertical support frames, the square pipe forms an elevated sterile planting layer, completely isolating root systems from underground fungi, nematodes and damp soil. The incidence of root diseases is greatly reduced, pesticide usage is lowered, and crops are cleaner and more suitable for high-end fresh market sales.

Hydroponic square pipe is extremely suitable for three-dimensional vertical layout. Multi-layer stacked installation makes full use of greenhouse vertical space, increasing effective planting quantity by 2–3 times without expanding land area. The unified installation height conforms to ergonomics, allowing growers to complete seedling replacement, inspection and harvesting in a standing posture and improve labor efficiency. The modular splicing structure supports quick on-site assembly, and pipe length, hole diameter and hole spacing can be fully customized according to planting crop types and greenhouse layout demands.

Combined with circulating water pumps, water-fertilizer integrated machines and real-time EC/pH sensors, the square pipe hydroponic system realizes fully automatic precise nutrient supply management. It supports continuous cropping all year round without fallow periods and breaks seasonal planting limits in cold areas.
